Aircraft Maintenance Technician

JetSuite is currently seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) for its Van Nuys, California location. We have an immediate need for someone with exceptional business judgment and discretion as well as the initiative and competence to make a significant contribution to the organization. 

Job Purpose:

Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, will provide technical assistance and labor for any and all problems associated with aircraft repairs or servicing at stations not normally staffed by JetSuite maintenance personnel. Coordinate with the maintenance department and Flight Operations to ensure a safe and efficient repair and return to service of aircraft. Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety.

Job Qualifications: 

Required: 

·         High School Diploma or equivalent 

·         Must live in the Southern California area 

·         Must have a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license 

·         Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record 

·         Ability to travel to out-stations and stay for an undetermined amount of time to provide technical assistance and labor 

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and must be fluent in English 

·         Have your own hand tools. 

·         United States citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

Job Specifics:

·        This position will travel as required to various airports - estimated travel is approximately 25% of the work week. This position will support the Van Nuys location when not travelling.

·         Provide updates to Maintenance Department and Flight Operations as to status of work being performed on aircraft at their location.

·         Maintain and organize all Maintenance equipment.

Mission Coordinator/ Flight Follower

JetSuite is looking for the best in Flight Operations.  We are seeking detail-oriented individuals responsible for planning and scheduling aircraft and crews in the safest and most efficient manner to satisfy customer demand and meet client expectations.  Operations personnel should have a solid background in flight scheduling and/or operational experience in the 135 environment.  This is a full-time position, located in Irvine, CA.  Must be available to work holidays, weekends and evenings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule fleet to meet customer demand
  • Optimize flight schedules to maximize efficiency and availability
  • Provide trip availability information to sales and client services teams
  • Provide trip feasibility information to client services and sales teams
  • Research, review, and monitor operational factors which may impact client trips and communicate with client services and sales teams

Guest Services Executives report directly to Guest Services Supervisors.  Must be willing to work some mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Pre-qualify and properly distribute inbound leads in a timely manner
  • Ensure all generated leads are accurately entered into company database

Guest Services Tactical Executives report directly to a Guest Services Tactical Supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Monitor all flight activities for any flight occurring within a 48-hour period
    • Confirm that day-of travel services have been arranged for each flight
    • Coordinate any requested changes with client, operations team and sales rep

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

 

Perform primary Inspection duties for the Van Nuys maintenance facility and other company facilities if required

 

 

 

Create due lists for upcoming aircraft maintenance and coordinate with Maintenance Controllers for scheduling of aircraft the Lead Maintenance Technicians for required manpower

 

 

 

Ensure that all paperwork is complete after maintenance and the aircraft are airworthy and in a safe condition for operation

Title: Administrative Assistant to the CEO

 

Reports to: CEO

 

Summary: 

 

This position will primarily provide administrative support to the CEO and President/CFO on a wide range of responsibilities.  This position will provide additional support to the entire senior leadership on an as needed basis while performing administrative duties that are essential to the company.

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·       Provide administrative support for senior leadership team, prioritizing CEO and President/CFO needs

·       Prepare expense reports, process invoices.

·       Manage ordering and inventory of office supplies for the Irvine headquarters

·       Ensure filing systems are maintained and up to date, including record keeping and reporting.

·       Handle incoming and outgoing mail.

·       Extensive calendaring including organizing meetings, conference calls and travel arrangements for the CEO and President/CFO as well as top management.

After-Hours Coordinator

Description

 

The After-Hours Operations Manager is responsible for managing all customer service and operational activities during after-hours.  This is an hourly (non-exempt) position based in Irvine, CA.  Candidates must be available to work after-hours, weekends, and holidays as required.

 

Reports to:  Director, Mission Control

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Answer all incoming client and pilot phone calls and emails during after hours

·       Provide quotes to clients and manage the booking of new reservations and changes to existing reservations

·       Research, review, and monitor operational factors which may impact client trips and communicate issues with clients and/or morning teams as necessary

·       Effectively coordinate and communicate all itinerary changes with clients

·       Reconfirm all passenger services for the following day

·       Schedule, arrange, and release flights associated with new reservations

Duty Manager

Description

 

Duty Managers are responsible for overseeing all daily activities within JetSuite’s Mission Control Center including all scheduling, mission coordination, flight following, maintenance control, and tactical guest services functions.  This is an exempt position based in Irvine, CA.  Candidates must be available to work after-hours, weekends, and holidays as required.

 

Reports to:  Director, Mission Control

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Release flights in accordance with all FAA regulations and company policies

·       Serve as a liaison between mission control, chief pilot, maintenance, crew members, and guest services teams

·       Redirect the activity of all mission control personnel as necessary to minimize schedule disruptions in the event of IROP situations

·       Elevate IROP situations of significance to the Executive Level

·       Maintain a predictive of the schedule to highlight overloads and develop mitigating strategies

·       Maintain an independent view of the schedule and opportunities to enhance performance

·       Assist in the training of all mission control personnel

·       Oversee the daily activities of mission control personnel including:

o   Schedule fleet aircraft and crew members to minimize costs while maximizing schedule availability in order to capture all revenue opportunities

o   Identify and monitor all operational factors which may impact client flights and communicate potential issues to guest services as necessary

o   Arrange and confirm all aircraft services including fuel

o   Arrange and confirm crew logistics services such as transportation, lodging, and meals

o   Arrange and confirm all international flight services including customs/immigration arrangements, handling, flight plans, etc.

o   Brief crew members on all flight and duty assignments
