Welcome to JetSuite!

Listed below are answers to a few Frequently Asked Questions that will help ensure you have a pleasant experience:

What information does JetSuite require in order to complete my reservation?

  • Departure & arrival airport(s)
  • Departure & arrival date(s) and time(s)
  • Passenger names
  • Estimated passenger weights (lbs)
  • Expected luggage (lbs)

What additional services does JetSuite provide?

Ground Transportation

JetSuite will gladly arrange chauffeured transportation and rental cars for its guests.  Passengers who would like a rental car and have a preferred rental number, such as a Hertz Gold or Avis Wizard, will often have their rentals waiting for them plane-side, allowing them to skip the paperwork at the counter.  Ground service arrangements do not extend to JetSuite “SuiteDeal” customers.

What should I expect from JetSuite after making a reservation?

Once a flight reservation has been confirmed, an email will be sent to each guest which contains a computer generated itinerary in the form of an Adobe PDF file.  The PDF itinerary will contain all customer, flight, and private terminal information along with confirmation of any previously requested services.

A day before the scheduled departure, customers will receive a phone call from JetSuite Client Services to review and ensure all trip information is accurate.  A confirmation email will also be sent later the same evening.

Why does JetSuite request passenger weights (I’m afraid to ask my wife)?

Recording passenger and luggage weight is an FAA requirement, and helps ensure JetSuite flights are operated safely and efficiently.

I purchased a fare that allows JetSuite to adjust my departure time by 60 minutes. When can I expect notification about my departure time and if it has been changed?

Official departure times for fares allowing an adjustable departure window will be confirmed at 3:00pm PST, on the day prior to the scheduled departure.

Since JetSuite does not provide tail numbers, how can I track my flight or arrange ground transportation?

All JetSuite flights are operated using the call sign “Red Stripe” followed by a three digit identifier (ex. Red Stripe 456 (RSP456).  This method is identical to commercial flights such as Southwest Airlines or JetBlue (SWA196 or JBU270). The flight number is the only way to track the progress of a flight, using websites such as flightaware.com, and can also be given to ground transportation and catering providers.  Due to JetSuite’s fully interchangeable fleet, aircraft tail numbers constantly change, while the flight number does not.

What amenities can I find on board a JetSuite Phenom 100?

Entertainment

Once on board, guests can find two pairs of Bose® QC-15 noise cancelling headsets to use during their travel.  These are perfect when listening to the aircraft equipped XM Satellite™ Radio.  Standard 110 volt electrical outlet allow the charging of personal devices and computers when on the go.  Tray tables extend from wood finished credenzas, providing ample workspace for laptops or the daily newspaper.

Beverages & Snacks

All JetSuite aircraft are stocked with an assortment of beverages which include Coke®, Diet Coke®, Sprite®, bottled water, tonic water, and soda water.  A generous selection of spirits, beer, and white wine are also provided.  Snack baskets include trail mix, cookies, cereal bars and granola bars.

Additional Catering

Should additional catering be required, guests can contact the private terminal at the departure location directly to arrange.  JetSuite Client Services will be more than happy to inform the flight crew of any additional catering, and will ensure it is brought on board prior to departure.

Just in case, is there a bathroom on board?

Yes.  The Phenom 100 has an enclosed lavatory, located in the aft of the aircraft.

What exactly is an “FBO”?

The term “FBO” is an acronym for “Fixed-Base Operator” which is a less than fancy way of saying “private terminal”.  These locations provide passenger and aircraft services similar to those found in any commercial terminal.

My friends found out I’m flying, how many can I bring along?

The Phenom 100 has a maximum seating capacity of four adults.  Additionally, one child under 2 years of age can also join (seated on an adult lap).  Please tell us if your passenger count changes, so we can plan your flight accordingly.  (Please note that on SuiteShare flights, only one passenger per seat is allowed.  Lap infants and pets are not allowed on SuiteShare flights.)

The family dog loves to travel, is he/she welcome on Jetsuite flights?

Absolutely. Pets are welcome on all whole-aircraft charter flights (this includes all bookings except SuiteShare flights), and they can enjoy the main cabin with you!

If we plan to go golfing in Scottsdale or skiing in Park City, how much equipment can we bring?

The Phenom 100 boasts the largest cargo capacity in its class.  Four sets of golf clubs or skiis will easily fit in the rear baggage compartment along with your normal luggage.  A Client Services agent will gladly assist you when planning your next getaway.

My flight is confirmed. What time should I arrive at the airport?

Don’t worry about long check-in lines or taking your shoes off.  Guests can arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled departure.  Once there, your flight crew will be ready to handle and load any luggage or equipment you may have.  Should you be running late or early, please notify our Client Services team immediately, as they will be more than happy to assist with your schedule.

exclamation symbol Note:  Always keep in mind the terms of your purchased agreement, as flights must generally depart within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time (30 minutes if you’re a SuiteKey member).
